Living room organizing
A living room that resets in five minutes, not an hour.
This room holds everyone's downtime, which means it holds everyone's stuff. We'll build in storage that fits how you actually live here — so tidying at the end of the day is a quick pass, not a project.
Sound familiar?
If the living room never stays picked up, the storage is probably the gap.
Shared rooms need places to put things, close to where things get used. Without that, everything lands on the nearest surface. Sound familiar?
- Blankets, remotes, and chargers end up wherever they were last set down
- Toys or hobby supplies migrate in and never migrate out
- Surfaces collect mail, cups, and things headed to other rooms
- Media, games, and cords are tangled in a cabinet nobody wants to open
- Tidying up feels like starting over every single evening
How it works
The same calm process — in your living room.
- Phase 01
Free in-home consultation
We spend an hour in your space talking through how the room gets used, what keeps piling up, and how you'd like it to feel. I also take basic measurements while I'm there, so if you decide to work together I already know what will fit.
- Phase 02
Organizing sessions
I arrive with baskets, bins, and inserts sized to your furniture and built-ins. We sort what belongs here, relocate what doesn't, coordinate donations, and give the everyday things a home within reach — usually in 2–3 sessions.
- Phase 03
Monthly or quarterly resets
Shared spaces drift fastest. An optional monthly or quarterly reset keeps it current, or use that session on a different room. Completely up to you.
What "done" looks like
Not picture-perfect. Working.
Storage where things get used
Baskets and bins near the couch for blankets, remotes, and whatever else lives in this room — so putting things away takes one step, not a trip.
A five-minute end-of-day reset
Everything in the room has a home, so a quick pass before bed actually returns the space to baseline.
Shared space that works for everyone
If kids play here or hobbies happen here, we build in contained, easy-to-reach storage that a child can use independently and an adult can tidy quickly.
Containers that suit the room
I source and purchase pieces that look like they belong in a living room on your behalf — unless you'd prefer to use what you already own. Billed at cost, never marked up.
No need to tidy up first
Leave the blankets on the couch and the toys on the floor. That's the useful version — it shows me how the room is really used, which is what the system has to fit.
Kind words
What people are saying.
"Tia has a gift of taking any space and turning it into beauty. As a busy working mom of 4, she has been a godsend to helping make spaces in my home beyond organized — the spaces bring me joy! I do not have Tia's gift, but I sure appreciate it. I plan on hiring her for several more projects around my house."
"If you are wondering how you will EVER tackle that closet or room, look no further. Room for Serenity helped us transform a closet into an oasis of inspiration! Perfect for people going through changes (empty nesters, changing spaces). Their ease-filled approach made the process enjoyable and so liberating. Don't wait any longer. Your future self will thank you!"
"I would recommend Room for Serenity to ANYONE looking to enhance their quality of life — whether they're in a transition with their space or just need some caring and deeply kind people to help free up emotional and mental space to take care of other parts of their life by clearing away the clutter."
