Bedroom organizing
A bedroom that feels like rest, not another to-do list.
Bedrooms are usually the last room to get attention — which is exactly why they collect everything else. We'll clear the surfaces, sort everything into clear categories, and build a simple system that holds up even on the busiest weeks.
Sound familiar?
If your bedroom keeps getting deprioritized, that makes sense.
You put the rooms other people see first. Nothing about that is a failure — it just means this one has been carrying the overflow. If any of these sound familiar, you're in the right place.
- The dresser top has become a landing pad for everything that has no home
- There's a pile of clean laundry that never quite makes it into a drawer
- Nightstand drawers are full of things you can't remember putting there
- Under-bed storage is a mystery you'd rather not investigate
- You close the door before company comes over, and it still nags at you
How it works
The same calm process — in your bedroom.
- Phase 01
Free in-home consultation
We spend an hour in your space talking through what's working, what isn't, and how you'd like the room to feel at the end of a long day. I also take basic measurements while I'm there, so if you decide to work together I already know what will fit.
- Phase 02
Organizing sessions
I arrive with the bins, baskets, and drawer solutions that fit your furniture. We clear surfaces, empty drawers together, sort what's staying, coordinate donations, and give everything a labeled home — usually in 2–3 sessions.
- Phase 03
Monthly or quarterly resets
Bedrooms drift, especially through a season change. An optional reset session brings it back to baseline, or you can spend it on a different space that needs a little TLC. Completely up to you.
What "done" looks like
Not picture-perfect. Working.
Surfaces that stay clear
Dressers and nightstands get a purpose again, and the things that used to land there get real homes nearby. Clear surfaces are easier to keep clear.
Drawers that make sense
We group by how you actually get dressed, not by category rules from a magazine. Drawer dividers only where they help — never for the sake of a photo.
Containers that actually fit
I source and purchase the bins, baskets, and drawer inserts on your behalf — sized to your furniture and under-bed clearance — unless you'd prefer to work with storage pieces you already own. You're billed at cost, never marked up.
A room that lets you exhale
The bedroom is the one space that's supposed to give something back to you. When the visual noise goes down, rest comes easier — for you and everyone else in the house.
No need to tidy up first
Seriously — seeing things exactly as they are helps. The laundry chair, the nightstand pile, the bags in the corner all tell me how the room is really being used. I design the system around that, not around a photo shoot.
Kind words
What people are saying.
"Tia has a gift of taking any space and turning it into beauty. As a busy working mom of 4, she has been a godsend to helping make spaces in my home beyond organized — the spaces bring me joy! I do not have Tia's gift, but I sure appreciate it. I plan on hiring her for several more projects around my house."
"If you are wondering how you will EVER tackle that closet or room, look no further. Room for Serenity helped us transform a closet into an oasis of inspiration! Perfect for people going through changes (empty nesters, changing spaces). Their ease-filled approach made the process enjoyable and so liberating. Don't wait any longer. Your future self will thank you!"
"I would recommend Room for Serenity to ANYONE looking to enhance their quality of life — whether they're in a transition with their space or just need some caring and deeply kind people to help free up emotional and mental space to take care of other parts of their life by clearing away the clutter."
