Office organizing

An office where you can sit down and start working.

Offices collect paper faster than any other room, and paper is the hardest category to make decisions about. We'll build a simple system you can maintain, and clear the desk so it's a place to work instead of a place things land.

Sound familiar?

If the paper pile keeps growing, the system is missing — not your willpower.

Most paper piles exist because there's no obvious next step for each item. We'll create one. Any of these familiar?

  • There's a stack of mail and paperwork you keep meaning to get to
  • You're not sure what you're required to keep or for how long
  • Supplies are duplicated across three drawers and a closet
  • Cords, cables, and old devices are stored just in case
  • The desk surface is full, so you work at the kitchen table instead

How it works

The same calm process — in your office.

  1. Phase 01

    Free in-home consultation

We spend an hour in your space talking through how you work, what keeps accumulating, and what you'd like the room to do for you. I also take basic measurements while I'm there, so if you decide to work together I already know what will fit.

  2. Phase 02

    Organizing sessions

I arrive with the files, bins, drawer inserts, and labels suited to your space. We sort paper into clear categories, set up a simple filing and action system, consolidate supplies, and clear the desk — usually in 2–3 sessions.

  3. Phase 03

    Monthly or quarterly resets

Paper is ongoing, so this is a space where a monthly or quarterly reset earns its keep. Or use that session elsewhere in the house. Completely up to you.

What "done" looks like

Not picture-perfect. Working.

A simple 5-category paper system

it's easy to over-complicate filing cabinets. Let's fix that with a simpler system. Once every piece of paper has an easy destination, the pile stops rebuilding itself.

Files you can find in seconds

Labeled, consistent categories that match how you think about your life — not a filing system someone else designed.

Supplies consolidated and sorted

One home per category, so you know what you have before you order more.

Containers and files that fit

I source and purchase the folders, bins, and drawer inserts on your behalf — sized to your desk and shelves — unless you'd rather use what you own. Billed at cost.

No need to tidy up first

Don't pre-sort the paper. Sorting without a system usually just makes new piles. Leave it, and we'll build the categories together the first time through.

Kind words

What people are saying.

"Tia has a gift of taking any space and turning it into beauty. As a busy working mom of 4, she has been a godsend to helping make spaces in my home beyond organized — the spaces bring me joy! I do not have Tia's gift, but I sure appreciate it. I plan on hiring her for several more projects around my house."
Laura K.
"If you are wondering how you will EVER tackle that closet or room, look no further. Room for Serenity helped us transform a closet into an oasis of inspiration! Perfect for people going through changes (empty nesters, changing spaces). Their ease-filled approach made the process enjoyable and so liberating. Don't wait any longer. Your future self will thank you!"
Juli O.
"I would recommend Room for Serenity to ANYONE looking to enhance their quality of life — whether they're in a transition with their space or just need some caring and deeply kind people to help free up emotional and mental space to take care of other parts of their life by clearing away the clutter."
